Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026. This page explains what data CV ATS Builder processes and how it is used.
Data we collect
- Account details when you sign in (name and email) through Firebase Authentication.
- The resume content you enter in the builder, saved to your account when you are signed in.
- Your language preference stored in your browser, and an overall visit counter that does not identify visitors.
How we use your data
- To run the resume builder, analysis and export tools.
- To send your resume text or a job description to our AI model provider (OpenRouter) when you use analysis, optimisation or generation features, solely to produce the result you asked for.
- To manage subscriptions; payments are processed by PayPal and we do not store your card details on our servers.
Sharing with others
We do not sell your data. We rely on service providers to run the platform: Firebase for accounts and storage, OpenRouter for AI processing, PayPal for payments and Google Fonts for typefaces. Each has its own privacy policy.
Retention and your rights
You can edit or delete your resumes from your account at any time, and you can ask for your account and data to be deleted through the contact channels published on the platform. We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
Security
We use Firebase infrastructure and access rules that prevent users from reading each other's data. No system is 100% secure, so avoid entering sensitive details a resume does not need, such as ID numbers or bank accounts.
Changes
We may update this policy and will show the last-updated date at the top. Continued use means you accept the current version.
