Every accountant writes that they prepared entries and reports. What sets you apart is what you achieved: faster closes, fewer errors, cleaner reconciliations. Write your experience in that language and your resume will rise above the rest.
Systems, standards and certifications
Accounting job posts name systems and standards explicitly, so those names need to appear in your resume word for word. List only what you genuinely know.
- Standards: IFRS, and Saudi zakat, tax and e-invoicing requirements where relevant
- Systems: SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Odoo or whatever you use
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, and SOCPA fellowship if you hold it
